The 19 th International Conference on Development and Regional Cooperation (ICDEC) at YUEco

January 16-18, 2023

The 19th ICDEC International Joint Conference was held under the theme of 'Global Trends and ESG' on January 16-18, at Yangon University of Economics (YUEco). It was the first conference in 2023, co-hosted by YUEco, KOMYRA, Kyung Hee Univestiy (KHU), NIB, JNU and San Jose State University (SJSU). As a venue for mutual exchange and cooperation, this event was held in cooperation with various academic organizations such as Korea, Myanmar, India, the United States, and Cambodia. The Rector, Dr. Tin Tin Htwe, gave a remark at the opening session. A total of 21 research papers were presented by Korean, Indian, Myanmar researchers. There were 5 Sessions chaired by Korean Professors, under the tracks of competitiveness and sustainability of the fashion industry, global trends and ESG, and mutual cooperation and major issues after post- pandemic. There was an in-depth discussion on how to approach new issues emerging in Asia after COVID-19.
