Day –   Master of Applied Statistics ( MAS )

MAS Programme

Admission Requirements

The MAS is accessible to students with first degrees in any discipline such as: statistics, computer science, engineering, population studies, mathematics, etc. All applicants to the MAS programme will be considered for admission to MAS programme, Yangon University of Economics, provided that they meet the following minimum criteria:

  • a Bachelor degree from any recognized University or Institution
  • over 30 years of age and at least three years work experience in statistical activities is an additional advantage
  • a candidate needs basic computer skills (Microsoft Word and Excel)
  • a pass in the entrance examination
  • a satisfactory performance in the personal interview with the Admissions Committee
  • a Full time participation in the class is required a simultaneous attendance of two post-graduate studies is not allowed
