Day – Master of Public Administration ( MPA )

 MPAProgramme

 Please study this Information sheet carefully before you complete and submit your application form.

MPA Adminission Requirements

For full time programme

-a bachelor degree from a regonized University or Institute

-recommendations from two referees

-at least 2 years full time work experience

-a clear pass in the MPA entrance examination where English reading comprehension and vocabulary, logical reasoning and numerical skills will be tested

-satisfactory personal interview results

-should be able to give full time attendance to the program

-should not be seeking education in other Universities and Institutes

-If the applicant is of full time employment, he /she should have the official support of his/her organization or employer and must present and official letter of permission

Application Check List

Your completed application package must include:

  • Completed application form
  • Two letters of recommendation in sealed envelopes (one preferably from a senior academician)
  • Copy of degree certificate
  • Letter or document certifying your work experience
  • Copy of national registration card
  • Two passport size photographs
  • Letter of permission from employer (for those currently employed)
  • Transcript of certificate of marks/grade of final year in University
  • Character Reference from Township Peace and Development Council

Evening – Executive Master of Public Administration ( EMPA )

Information Sheet for Candidates Applying To TheEMPAProgramme

Please study this Information Sheet carefully before you complete and submit your application form.

For EMPA Programme

-a bachelor degree from a regonized University or Institute

-a minimum of 8 years full time work experience as a government gazette officer or business executive

-at least 30 years of age

-should be able to give full time attendance to the program

-should not be seeking education in other Universities and Institutes

-satisfactory results in EMPA entrance examination where English reading comprehension and vocabulary, logical reasoning and numerical skills will be tested

-satisfactory personal interview results

-recommendations from two referees

Application Check List

When submitting your application from, your completed application package must include:

  • Completed application form
  • Two letters of recommendation in sealed envelopes (One preferable from a senior academician)
  • Copy of your Bachelor degree certificate
  • Copy of your national registration card
  • Letter certifying your character reference, current position at work and work experience
  • Two current passport size photos
